Moringa Infused Organic Palm Shortening (Butter)- (makes 8oz (volume))
1/4 cup (4TBSP) 100% Moringa [1] powder
8oz Organic Palm Shortening [2] (melted)

INSTRUCTIONS
# Place Organic Palm Shortening [4] inside a mason jar or glass bowl
# Place mason jar inside a pot of water. If using a bowl, place bowl over a pot of water
# Let it melt
# Add Moringa powder and stir
# Keep over low heat for 2-4 hours. Make sure you have enough water in the pot to last the 4 hours OR refill it as necessary.
# Remove from heat and strain

# You can probably get away with using 2 or 3 TBSP of Moringa powder [1] for this infusion
# I used this to oil my hair sometimes. Just the straight oil on my scalp and hair.
# I strained once through nylon. It wasn’t enough to remove all the powder. I strained again through coffee filters which took a little patience and a small amount of squeezing to get the oil through the filter.
# It sets up as a liquid on top and a semi-solid with this gorgeous dark green color! Love it.
