Liquid Germall Plus is a very popular preservative because it's said to work at a large pH range: 3-8. However, there's some spooky info about it being a formaldehyde donor because of the diazolidinyl urea. It's said not to pose a significant risk to health if used as directed within a specific usage rate (0.1-0.5%). It also contains Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, which is banned in lotion and cream products in the UK. Also, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate should NOT be used in products that will be aerosolized or inhaled. (＠_＠;)
