Tips

Adding natural extracts (like sugarcane, marshmallow root, watermelon etc) can sometimes increase the microbial risk. As a result, you may want to use your broad-spectrum preservative at a level closer to the upper limit of it's usage rate. For example, if the usage rate is 0.5 - 1%, you may want to use it at 1% if your product has a lot of commercial or homemade extracts.
